Who We Are

District Overview

Rydell is a pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade unit school district. It serves approximately 4,300 students. The district has (4) K-5 elementary schools, a K-5 Magnet School, a middle school serving 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students, and a four-year high school.

We serve a geographic area of 80 square miles and are located 32 miles south of the Seattle metropolitan area. 

Our Staff

The Rydell District has a very competent, dedicated, and forward-looking staff representing knowledge gained through experience and the spirit and energy of the young. 59% of our teachers hold master's degree or above. The school community has a very active and supportive staff.
